Friday Evening Dine Around
The following restaurants have been selected based on diversity and exceptional dining experiences. Each location will host a group seating area with a fixed number of seats available.
Registered/ paid delegates will receive a link to reserve your seat. You will be able to reserve a seat (or 2) based on your own single or double registration. ‘Block’ reservations cannot be accommodated online, but other delegates will be able to reserve seats at the same location (subject to availability). Or just book your seat(s) and be pleasently surprised with whom you share your dining experience!
Each delegate will receive a $75 voucher. You will be responsible for any charges over and above.

CIBO Waterfront Cafe $
A Mediterranean Inspired Café within a repurposed industrial building on the bank of the Historic Red River. The “Pump and Screen House” building, provides high ceilings, massive windows, industrial masonry, simple lighting, warm furnishings, and urban riverfront views all create the setting for a special dining experience.
Velvet Glove $$$
This is a premier dining experience! The restaurant is offering a featured 4-course menu. They will also offer a flight of wine parings to compliment the meal or specialty wine features.
529 Uptown $$$
529 Uptown offers an exquisite menu with a distinct Japanese influence. Notably, 529 Uptown proudly distinguishes itself as one of Winnipeg’s only restaurants consistently serving A5 Wagyu beef.
Smith $$
Located in the heart of The Forks. Presenting a woodsy-chic bar/eatery at Inn at the Forks with select, seasonal fare, and local beers.
Vida Cucina Italia $$$
Italy’s culinary master, Chef Rosanna Marziale combines passion, attention to detail, and the finest ingredients from Italy. You will experience a special 5-course tasting menu inspired specifically for our Skaleagues! Wine parings will also be offered!
Please only reserve seats based on your registration for single or double. Do not overbook and hold extra seats as this skews the number of seats based on delegates
